Scooter’s Coffee coming to Northgate property

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Another business is set to join Genzada at the Northgate property.

Scooter’s Coffee is coming to the corner of 30th and Plum and will be located in the parking lot of Genzada.

Owner Jessica Gillette says Scooter’s will be a 550-square-foot building with a drive-thru offering a wide coffee menu along with tea, smoothies and Red Bull products. There will also be a food menu with breakfast items served throughout the day. The area will have patio seating for customers.

“We really think this is something that this part of 30th Street could use,” Gillette said, adding that she is excited about the store and the way the company runs its business.

Scooter’s Coffee was born in 1998 with the first drive-thru coffeehouse in Bellevue, Nebraska.

Scooter’s keys to success: find a great location and stay committed to high-quality drinks, speed of service and a BIG smile. Scooter’s Coffee is fortunate to have over two decades of success because of its commitment to the original business principles and company core values.

The name Scooter’s comes from the co-founder’s daughter. Scooter was her nickname.
