SCOTT CITY – The Kansas Bureau of Investigation was contacted Wednesday morning by the Scott County Sheriff’s Office requesting assistance with a barricaded man, later identified as 44-year-old Daniel Allan Lewis. The incident arose from an alleged threat to a female acquaintance.

KBI Agents and the KBI’s High Risk Warrant Team (HRWT) responded and the matter was resolved without major incident.

Lewis was taken into custody on a charge of criminal threat.

No one was injured during the incident.
