The search for a new director of the Hutchinson Rec Commission continues and there is a lot of interest according to Joe Fangman who represents USD 308 with the Commission board. Although he couldn’t give an exact number, he told the school board Monday that 85-people have shown interest in the position.

As we had told you earlier, long-time Director Tom Cook will be retiring at the end of April.

Fangman says those working to pick a new director will be meeting in the coming weeks to narrow the field down. He says they hope to have someone in place by the time Cook retires.
