HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Now through Nov. 1, the Reno County Sheriff’s Office, along with several other law enforcement agencies across the state, will be conducting seat-belt enforcement around area schools.

Sheriff’s officials say this enforcement is targeted toward children who are not properly restrained.

The campaign is focused on reducing child deaths from motor vehicle accidents, as well as educating the operators of vehicles carrying these children.
