WICHITA – A second Wichita man has now pleaded guilty to a bank robbery charge.

34-year-old Marcus D. Bishop pleaded guilty to one count of aiding and abetting bank robbery.

In his plea, he admitted that in August 2011 he and others discussed robbing the Sunflower Bank at 2073 North Webb Road in Wichita. On Aug. 11, 2011, he drove himself and two other men to the bank. One of the men, Willie J. Jackson, went inside the bank and robbed it. Jackson got back in the car and Bishop drove the men to a pre-arranged location where they switched cars. They were arrested later that day.

Bishop is set for sentencing June 4. He faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000.

Jackson pleaded guilty Wednesday to one count of bank robbery and two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm after a felony conviction. He’s set for sentencing on May 31.

Other defendants, Sergio R. Little, is set for a change of plea hearing March 20.
Tanina Renee Anderson is scheduled for sentencing April 23.
