HUTCHINSON, Kan.—Because of the ongoing construction around the Wiley Building and Fox Theatre, several alleys in the downtown area are being closed off.

Hutchinson Public Works says that the east/ west alley between east 1^st and east 2^nd is closed as well as the north/ south alley between the 100 block of north Main and Walnut is closed. Both alleys will be closed for about 4 weeks. The city is asking pedestrians and motorist to avoid these areas and to drive carefully around the construction work.
