* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
McPherson County in central Kansas…
Northern Reno County in south central Kansas…
Rice County in central Kansas…
Southeastern Ellsworth County in central Kansas…
Saline County in central Kansas…

* Until 1145 PM CDT.

* At 1030 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 miles southeast of Victor to near Kanopolis to
near Olmitz, moving southeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include…
Salina, Mcpherson, Lyons, Lindsborg, Sterling, Moundridge, Inman,
Galva, Canton, Kanopolis, Marquette, Little River, Chase, Assaria,
Gypsum, Bushton, Geneseo, Brookville, Smolan and Alden.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 135 between Mile Markers 43 and 95.
Interstate 70 between Mile Markers 236 and 266.
