At 655 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over McPherson, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Trained weather spotters. This storm has a history of producing large hail and damaging wind gusts in excess of
60 mph.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include…Salina, Mcpherson, Lindsborg, Moundridge, Inman, Galva, Canton,
Marquette, Assaria, Gypsum, Smolan, Falun, Salina Airport, Mcpherson Airport, Roxbury, Bridgeport and Kipp.

This includes Interstate 135 between Mile Markers 46 and 92.
