WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State men’s basketball player Jamarius Burton has been named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll for the week of Nov. 11-17.
Burton – a 6-foot-4 sophomore from Charlotte, N.C. — scored a career-high 18 points and hit four of Wichita State’s school record-tying 15 three-pointers in a 103-62 win over UT Martin.
Burton was 4-of-5 from deep and also tallied six rebounds and five assists in 22 turnover-free minutes. The Shockers were +35 with Burton on the floor and the team’s 29 assists tied for the fifth-most in American Athletic Conference history.
Burton is the second Shocker to make the honor roll this year, joining Dexter Dennis.
