Hutchinson Police are investigating the report of multiple gun shots being fired in the city Friday morning.

According to Hutchinson Police Lt. Thad Pickard, police received the report just after 6 a-m at an apartment complex at 203 East Avenue “A”.

Authorities say a man walked out of his apartment when two shots were fired. One hit the door frame of the apartment, another struck the building. Both rounds were recovered.

Police, who would not say if the man was the intended target. They spent the morning talking with residents of the apartment complex.

Many reported hearing the shots, but didn’t see the person who fired them.

No arrests have been made.
