Shots fired call in Harvey County leads to three arrests

NEWTON, Kan. — Harvey County Sheriff and Newton Police officials made an arrest Saturday of three individuals after responding to a report of shots fired from a vehicle toward a house near SE 36th Street and Webb Road.

Shortly after, Newton Police attempted to stop a vehicle matching the suspect’s vehicle description. The vehicle pulled into the parking lot of Eastgate Lanes and three suspects fled on foot.

The suspects, two adult men and a juvenile, were quickly apprehended and arrested at gunpoint. A firearm was also recovered. No word on anyone being injured at the home.

The names of the suspects have not been released.
