VALLEY CENTER – Sedgwick County Sheriff Deputies arrested six juveniles that are alleged to have committed four vehicle larcenies and two and two burglaries in the Valley Center area.

Deputies were sent to the 8100 Block of North Buena Vista Drive at around 2:24 a-m, after a homeowner confronted a juvenile on his property, and the juvenile fled on foot prior to arrival of the deputy.

The owner observed a vehicle leaving the area and provided this information to the deputy. Shortly after that, a deputy stopped a vehicle matching the description of the vehicle.

Six juveniles including the one confronted by the owner were located in the vehicle. The juveniles are white males, one is 17, and the other five are 16-year-olds.

All six were booked in the juvenile detention center of charges of burglary and theft.

Property loss from all locations estimated at 700-dollars, and the recovered property was returned to the various owners.
