BARBER COUNTY — A 21-year-old South Hutchinson woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident in Barber County Thursday.

Holly McClellan was traveling southbound on Gyp Hill Road. Near Dry Creek Road, she lost control of her vehicle while trying to avoid an animal. Her vehicle entered the west ditch and overturned.

She was transported to the hospital in Medicine Lodge for treatment.

The accident occurred around 8:30 p.m., about 8 miles southwest of Medicine Lodge.
