SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. — City Administrator Matt Stiles is leaving his position this summer. He told Hutch Post and Eagle Communications that he gave his resignation to the South Hutchinson City Council on Wednesday. Stiles says that doesn’t mean he’s leaving right away:

Stiles is also known for spearheading the Reno County Veterans Memorial being constructed on the south edge of South Hutchinson. He says he’ll still follow what’s happening there:

Stiles would have celebrated his eighth anniversary with the City of South Hutchinson in September, but will miss that mark when he leaves June 17.

South Hutch officials will now begin the process of finding his replacement.
