The efforts of three local businesses and Eagle Radio to collect food for the Reno County Food Bank ended as a much bigger success then expected.

Called the “Stuff The Truck” event, 7-trucks were loaded for a total of 52-hundred pounds of food. Sponsors had planned for 6-trucks, but ended with 7.

The event was sponsored by Midwest Superstore, Ford and Toyota who supplied the trucks and their staff. Mike’s Rent to own was also a sponsor and had their staff there to help.

And, of course, Walmart for allowing the event to take place on their parking lot. There was also staff and volunteers from the Reno County Food Bank to assist.

But, the biggest thanks goes to the listeners of all three Eagle Radio stations for their support.
