HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson USD 308 Summer Meal Program set another record for the
number of meals served during the summer.
According to figures released to Eagle Radio the district service a total of 22,532 meals compared with 21,388 last year, an increase of 1,144. The district provided meals at six locations including a new one at the Hutchinson Public Library.
The district served 8,156 meals at HMS-7; 5,303 meals at the Boys and Girls Club and 4,797 at Ave. “A” School. The library served 1,910 meals and the Ave. “A” splash park totaled 1,677. Allen Elementary served 689 meals.
The district was very happy with the turnout at the library which had steady numbers throughout the summer.
