HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A 47-year-old Cedar Park, Texas man who was arrested back on Nov. 15. was back in court Monday morning for the formal reading of charges.
John Arlen Swartz is now charged with three counts of aggravated battery, including against a 14 year old.
One of the victims says Swartz began swinging at him in a trailer park in that city. During the struggle, the victim was allegedly bitten on his upper left arm and also had an abrasion to one of his lips from being struck. Later, he’s alleged to have rammed the victim’s vehicle three times, the first as they were stopped at a stop sign.
Swartz has another case where he’s charged with violation of a protection from abuse order which is already pending before Judge Joe McCarville.
The case over the latest arrest will now be set on a future waiver-status docket.
