
HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A 47-year-old man arrested by South Hutchinson Police just over a week ago after he allegedly attempted to break into a home and also a business in that city while the resident was inside was back before a judge Monday.
Johnny D. Schissler is charged with attempted aggravated burglary and burglary of a non-dwelling.
The resident apparently heard the noise and reported that Schissler was trying to break in using a hammer. The suspect ran from the scene, but was located later in a horse sale barn.
All this occurred around 10:45 in the morning on June 12. .
Bond in the case was set at $15,750 and with the charges filed, the case now moves to a waiver-status docket on July 13.
