HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 22-year-old man convicted in three violent crime cases apparently wants some relief from his sentence.
Jordan Leffel was sentenced to 19 1/2 years in prison and another six months for refusing to testify at a co-defendant’s trial, that being Dakota Anderson.
He was convicted of four counts of aggravated robbery, three counts of aggravated burglary and criminal restraint.
The charges were for three incidents — two home invasions and the robbery of a local business – that occurred in April and May of 2015.
A hearing has been scheduled for Thursday in front of Judge Tim Chambers, who handed down the sentence in Leffel’s case.
