A Hutchinson man already facing 14-counts of burglary was bound over on four more counts and entered not guilty pleas to all of it Monday morning.

Rusty Bryant faces trial for two burglaries and thefts in the city of Hutchinson, one of which occurred outside Grace Bible Church at 1221 East 33 rd. There he allegedly stole tools from Wiens and Company Construction. They had a semi trailer at that location and he allegedly broke a lock and stole various tools from the company.

The other case involves him breaking into a vehicle at a nearby car lot and stealing a GPS Device and CD’s from that vehicle in which a Hutchinson woman had apparently left there overnight.

Both crimes occurring on July 13.

Bryant was earlier bound over on 6-counts of aggravated burglary, 1-count of burglary and 7-counts of auto burglary associated with crimes in the Prairie Dunes- Linksland Drive area in suburban Hutchinson between July 5, and 11.

Sheriff and police investigators did a search of his residence at 1001 E 12th, and allegedly found items consistent with property reported stolen from the recent burglaries, including the ones in Hutchinson.

The two cases will now be placed on the trial docket with Judge Trish Rose.
