HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 33-year-old man arrested back in July on a warrant for violating his community corrections for two drug convictions stipulated Thursday to violating his corrections. During that same hearing, Dustin Lytle also entered pleas to charges in a third case.

It was July 10 when law enforcement went to a home on East 28th and performed a search of the residence. Officers found drugs and other paraphernalia.

Charges include possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia — all with the intent to distribute within a thousand feet of a school — possession of prescription drugs, and felony theft.

Lytle was convicted for having and selling the drugs within a thousand feet of Morgan Elementary School, however, he entered a plea to simple possession of methamphetamine while all the other charges stayed the same.

Deputy District Attorney Tom Stanton says it’s most likely Lytle will be ordered to prison after being convicted in his latest case.
