Suspects in kidnapping case in court once again.

Two of the suspects in a kidnapping case going back to September 8, were in court once again. Magistrate Judge Randy McEwen read the formal complaint against Zachary Lawson in this case, while Jeremia Palmer was read yet another charge against him for another separate incident.

Zachary Lawson is charged with aggravated kidnapping, conspiracy to commit aggravated kidnapping, aggravated battery, aggravated burglary, aggravated intimidation of a witness, criminal threat, possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, anabolic steroids and criminal use of weapon.

He along with Palmer, and a third man, 28-year-old Jedrik Smith are charged in this case after a search warrant was served on Lawson’s home in Nickerson on Sunday September 11, because of the alleged beating and kidnapping of 28-year-old Larry McVey.

Palmer is charged with aggravated battery in a separate case because of an incident back on July 22, where he allegedly battered Tyler Melton. Melton apparently required some medical treatment from the altercation.

But, he was in court Wednesday morning in a third case where he’s charged with criminal threat against Michael Young, which is reported to have occurred back on July 30. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in this case for October 4.

All three men charged in the kidnapping case are expected to appear on a future waiver-status docket.
