Take a Front Row Seat for the Arts is an arts initiative for Masterpieces, a newly established program dedicated to sponsoring local students in their pursuits of the Arts.

We’re inviting 50 artists to paint/create 50 joyful works on our 50 chairs to be sold at auction the end of June! Proceeds from the auction go directly into the sponsorship program.

All 50 artists’ chairs will be on display in the Masterpieces booth at the Hutchinson Art Fair on May 12 to help promote Third Thursday’s June Artwalk. Chairs will then be dispersed and on display in several Downtown storefronts until they come back together at Hope and Life Center in June….an Artwalk destination for final viewing before the silent Auction.

The public will be invited to vote on their favorite “best of show” chair. The top 5 artists will be granted studio time at Hope and Life Center during Third Thursday events.

Chairs may be picked up by appointment at Hope and Life Center, 400 S. Main, or you may schedule a time for a chair to be delivered to you. Call Gina Nachtigal for details 620-727-3308.
