HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Believe it or not, tax season is not that far away. Jo Wiebe with H&R Block talked about some of the common terms when it comes to helping people save money. For instance, the difference between a deduction and an exemption:

 

Then there are credits which can be claimed on tax returns. She said this is different then deductions and exemptions:

 

The most common of those is a child tax credit. However, Wiebe commented that there will be some changes with the new tax year:
