RUSSELL- A Kansas teen was injured in an accident just before 4 p.m. on Monday in Russell County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1995 Toyota SUV driven by Javaun Parker, 48, was north bound on 187th two miles east of Russell. The driver lost control of the vehicle. It entered a wheat field and overturned.

A passenger Destiny A. Aldrich, 18, Russell, was transported to Russell Regional Hospital. Parker was not injured.

The KHP reported both were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
