Teen Pinned By Skid Loader

A Reno County teenager was taken by Lifeteam helicopter to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita following an accident Screen-Shot-2013-10-08-at-8.41.26-AM.pngSunday morning.

It happened around 9 a.m. a half-mile west of Langdon Road on Parallel Road. The Reno County Sheriff’s Office says three teens were in a field, using a skid steer to do fence work on the property.

16 year old Kolton Kincaid was one two teens were riding on the stump remover at the front when became pinned when his shoulder got caught on the roof of the skid steer and began to compress him. The driver quickly lowered the arms, but Kincaid was unable to move once the arms were down.

Kincaid reported not having any sensation from the waist down and having a hard time breathing, when he was transported to the hospital. The accident is still under investigation.
