A 15-year-old was taken to a Wichita hospital after moped-car accident at 3rd & Severance, Monday afternoon.

Taken to Wesley Medical Center by Midwest Lifeteam helicopter was Duncan Lee who reportedly suffered a broken leg and a lump on his head.

He was apparently eastbound on 3rd and allegedly ran a red light. His moped was then struck by a Mustang driven by 39-year-old William Gray, who was northbound on Severance. He was not injured.

The investigation into the accident continues, but so far, Lee has not be cited for any traffic offenses

The accident occurring just after 3 p-m, Monday.
