NEWTON, Kan. – The Hutchinson Hawks Jr. Legion team lost in Zone 4 action to the Junction City Blues Sunday afternoon in Newton 5-2.  Junction City took an early lead 4-0 after 4 innings and added an insurance run in the 5th.

Hutchinson scored a run in the fourth inning on a pair of doubles and added a run in the sixth. Jared Stoffel took the loss for Hutchinson, striking out four batters in five innings.

Next action is Monday at 1pm vs Derby. The winner of that game takes on the El Dorado vs Newton loser at around 3:00 pm.
