Even though the Kansas State Fair is a little over a week away, the fairgrounds are already starting to get busy.

If you drive by the grounds, you’ll notice some of the rides for the midway are already in Hutchinson. North American Midway rides started arriving on the grounds this past weekend, but they haven’t started setting up thus far.

They will have promotions to make your dollar go further in the tight econimic climate.

Starting with the Moonlight Madness promotions on Friday, September 9 and again on Friday, September 16 from 3 p-m to 11 p-m. The Moonlight Madness wristband price is $25.

Then its Dollar Day on Monday, September 12 th. Each ride is only one ticket ($1.25) per person.

Or, how about Ride-A-Rama Tuesday, on September 13 th, and Wednesday, September 14 th, from 11 a-m to 10 p-m, Thursday, September 15th from 3 p-m. to 10 p-m. The Ride-A-Rama wristband price is $25.

Then there is Last Chance – Sunday, September 18 will be your Last Chance to ride from Noon to 8 p.m. The Last Chance wristband price is $25.

Don’t forget to purchase your discount midway tickets early, but time is running out. They can be purchased online or from the Kansas State Fair Ticket Office at 20 th & Poplar in Hutchinson.

A sheet of 22 tickets is $15 through Thursday, September 8. Beginning Friday September 9, the price for a sheet of 22 tickets is $25, a sheet of 55 tickets is $60.

Wristband vouchers can be purchased in advance and exchanged for a wristband at the Midway Guest Services booth on the wristband promotion day of your choice.
