Three people were arrested late Wednesday evening after the Reno County Drug Unit served a search warrant at a home at 1016 North Van Buren.

Arrested was Shane Kinast, Dwayne Porting and Elisha Bozarth. All three face drug related charges after officers allegedly found a bag on the couch of the home that contained a small zip-lock bag with a crystal substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine. Also in the bag was more zip-lock bags and a digital scale.

All three made court appearances Thursday morning and the bond for Porting was set at 14-thousand dollars, the bond for Bozarth at 8-thousand and Kinast at 12-thousand 500.

Kinast denied any knowledge of the drugs even though it was his home where the drugs were allegedly found. He was recently busted in another case for possession of meth and also has a probation violation pending for DUI.

All three are expected in court again next Wednesday for a status hearing. That will give the state time to file formal charges.
