Three people face charges after the Reno County Drug Unit served a search warrant late Monday evening at a home at 214 South Reformatory.

The home belonged to 21-year-old Dustin Bright and after being read his Miranda rights, he allegedly admitted to having lortabs, drug paraphernalia and marijuana in his room and on his person. Officers allege they also located a bag of a white crystal substance weighing approximately 2.7-grams in his bedroom. Charges include possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, no tax stamp and possession of the lortab. His bond set at 7-thousand, 500-dollars.

Also arrested was 20-year-old Susanna Chavez of 516 East 6th. She was checked for warrants and her back pack was searched and allegedly a spoon with residue was found, along with a cut straw and a zip-lock bag with white crystal residue. She was charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia. Bond set at 55-hundred. However, she apparently has other issues, because her total bond is now set 20-thousand, 500-dollars.

The third person arrested was 22-year-old Zachary Decker of 1229 East 8th. He was arrested on charges for having three prescription pills (xanax) in his front left pocket which he allegedly stated he wanted to sell for profit. They were in a small zip-lock bag. His bond set at 25-hundred and he is currently free on that bond.

All three made first appearances Tuesday in front of Magistrate Judge Randy McEwen and all will be back in court on January 16 for a status hearing.
