Late Monday, a search warrant was served on a home after a off duty sheriff deputy spotted two individuals he suspected of using a stolen financial card from two burglaries which recently occurred on west 17th.

The individuals had allegedly used the card at Pic-Quik at 30th and Waldron and also Dillon’s at 30th and Plum. They were caught on video, and the deputy recognized them from those videos after going into Spangles and seeing them there.

He arrested Marshall Nely, and Tara Bruse leading to the search of their home at 304 West 12th.

They allegedly found items not only from the burglary and thefts at two homes on west 17th, but also from the burglaries that occurred in the Homestead addition south of 4th Street on Obee Road last week.

The 23-year-old Nely is charged with 11-counts of auto burglary, 13-counts of theft,. 5-counts of criminal use of a financial card and possession of stolen property. His bond left at 65-thousand, 500-dollars after he made a first appearance this morning.

19-year-old Tara Wayne Bruse also of 304 West 12 th, is charged with 4-counts of auto burglary, 2-counts of criminal use of a financial card, and one count of possession of stolen property. Her bond of 24-thousand, 500-dollars also stayed the same after a court appearance.

19-year-old Simon Boast of 304 West 12 th is charged with 7-counts of auto burglary, 7-counts of the theft, and two counts of stolen property. His bond was reduced from 39-thousand to 20-thousand dollars.

All three will be back in court in the coming days, once the state files formal charges.
