Three people well know to law enforcement and the courts were arrested early Thursday morning on drug charges.
28-year-old Hollie Childs, and 25-year-old Johnny Fenton both of Hutchinson were arrested by Hutchinson Police on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest coming around 1:50 a-m.
Apparently, police served a search warrant at a hotel room at 1400 North Lorraine and allegedly found a bag containing a green leafy substance determined to be marijuana, a bag with white residue which tested to be positive to be methamphetamine. They also allegedly found packaging materials, and syringes.
A third man, 32-year-old Curtis Prebble was arrested on an arrest and detain order for being in violation of his parole for convictions of burglary, aggravated battery and theft.
Childs has had previous convictions for being involved with drugs back in 2007, and at one time was on community corrections. The hotel room was in her name according to police.
Fenton also has previous convictions for burglary, identity theft and drugs and is currently under supervision.
None of the three have made a court appearances on the charges. Magistrate Judge Randy McEwen stated that he hadn’t received the paper work as of Thursday morning. Childs and Fenton should make appearances in the coming days.
