HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Police Department continues to fill vacancies in its patrol staff.

Chief Jeff Hooper will be swearing in three new officers Thursday, June 6, at 8 a.m. at the Law Enforcement Center in the HPD auditorium.

The new officers are John Williams, Dakota Roberds and Rodney Henry.

After being as many as 19 patrol officers short of a full staff, the department is down to about 10 vacant positions according to Hooper.
