Three new Hutchinson City Council members took their seats on the board this morning after winning in the recent city-county elections.

Jade Piros De Carvalho won the At Large seat over for Police Lt., Clay Rothe. Nancy Soldner won the Southwest District seat over Joe Miller and John Daveline takes over the Northwest District. He ran unopposed in that election.

The city said goodbye to three council members including Dave Razo who represented the Southwest, Ron Sellers who represented the Northwest District and Dean Brigman who chose not run for the At Large seat on the council.

A reception was held during the Hutchinson City Council meeting Tuesday to honor those leaving the council and welcome the new members.

The two remaining veterans of the council were named to mayor and vice-mayor. That being Bob Bush as Mayor who represents the Northeast District and Cindy Proett who represents the South East District.
