HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Cosmosphere announced Thursday that tickets to next month’s Earthrising event are going fast, but a limited number still remain. According to the Cosmosphere, all VIP tickets are sold out and a limited number of general admission tickets remain.

In addition, the museum and science center also announced that current NASA administrator, Jim Bridenstine, and Kansas Senator Jerry Moran will both be in attendance.

Earthrising will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Meadowlark Building on the Kansas State Fairgrounds. The gala will include a dinner, an Apollo 8 artifact exhibit, a silent auction and panel presentation with Apollo-era astronauts and mission control crew members.
