HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson High Salthawks lost to the Eisenhower High Tigers 56-37 in Friday night’s game.

The Salthawks quickly fell behind the Tigers 20-10 after one quarter.

Eisenhower outscored Hutchinson by six in the second to take a 33-17 halftime lead.

The Salthawks only shot 24 percent from the field while the Tigers shot 44 percent and out-rebounded Hutchinson 40-28.

No Hutchinson players finished with double-digit scoring, but nine Salthawks had points, led by Joe Blake’s 7.

The Salthawks never closed the gap. Hutchinson was only outscored by one in the third, but still trailed by 17 heading into the fourth.
