COLWICH – A 36-year-old Topeka man was taken to a Wichita hospital after a one vehicle accident just north of Colwich in Sedgwick County Monday morning.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Keith Garber was eastbound on K-96 and drove off the left side of the roadway, and collided with a raised portion of the center median, then crossed the center median and came to rest in the westbound lanes of the highway.

Garber was seatbelted in, but was still transported to Via-Cristi, St. Francis Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The accident occurring around 7:10 a-m Monday morning on K-96 near 151st Street in the Wichita area.
