East bound traffic on 4th Street was blocked for around two and half hours Thursday afternoon after the trailer of a semi collapsed. As the picture above shows, the trailer is collapsed in the middle and that caused the owners of Pal Company of Kansas, Inc,. to have to transfer merchandise from the collapsed trailer to another and the remove the trailer from the street.
40-year-old Gerald Osenbaugh of Langdon was driving the semi when it happened around 3:20 p-m Thursday afternoon.
The incident did caused east bound traffic on 4th street to be closed for sometime, and westbound traffic for a short time between Poplar and Maple Thursday afternoon while a wrecker was brought in to remove the trailer.
The street is now back open according to Police.
