A Turon man accused of trying to entice or solicit a child 14-16 years of age was in court this morning where he entered a not guilty plea to the charge of electronic solicitation.

Jon Timothy Herrmann had earlier waived his right to a preliminary hearing in the matter where he’s accused of using a telephone or other electronic means to text the child hoping they would agree to commit or submit an unlawful sexual act. The alleged crime occurring on July 6, of this year.

With the not guilty plea, the case could go to trial in front of Judge Trish Rose.
