HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Two people taken to jail on Friday evening on various charges, some fairly serious made first appearances in court Monday morning.

Thirty-two-year-old Kristen S. Ardolino was arrested for at 210 W. 2nd for aggravated assault domestic violence and being a felon in possession of a firearm. She is alleged to have pulled a large handgun and pointed it at her ex-boyfriend. She argued in court that it didn’t happen that way and wanted to file charges against her ex.

Her bond was left at $6,500.

She was apparently with 56-year-old Daniel Wilson who was arrested at 105 W. 5th for possession of methamphetamine intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute, no tax stamp, possession of Oxycodone, Hydrocodone and Clonazepan. He was also arrested for charges of possession of a firearm by felon, interference with law enforcement, battery of a law enforcement officer, possession of marijuana and personal use drug paraphernalia.

He was confronted by police and allegedly ran from the officers, he then got into an altercation with an officer, pulling buttons off of his shirt. They did a search of his truck and allegedly found several baggies of meth as well as the other drugs and a handgun.

He claimed in court that Ardolino was in his truck for about two hours and didn’t know what all she had with her.

His bond was left at $38,500, partly because he has prior convictions for the unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine with the cases going back to 1989 and 1984.

Both will be back in court on July 22.
