Two children injured in two vehicle crash Saturday in Hutchinson

HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Two children were taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center after a two vehicle crash at 11th & K-61 Saturday night.

Fifty-one-year-old Debra Schlesener was cited for failing to yield the right away while making left turn and an expired license plate after the vehicle she was driving struck a vehicle operated by 44-year-old Edward Skinner. He was also cited for driving while suspended and operating his vehicle without ignition interlock device.

Twelve-year-old Gracie Skinner and 10-year-old Edward Skinner the fourth were both transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The accident closed one east bound lane of 11th, just east of K-61, while emergency personnel and police worked the scene.
