PARTRIDGE, Kan.- Two Reno County residents were injured in an accident just after 7 p.m. on Monday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Hyundai Sonota driven by Laura Y. Miller, 16, Arlington, was southbound on Kansas 61, two miles south of Partridge. The driver swerved to miss an animal in the roadway. The vehicle left the roadway to the east and struck a power pole.
Miller and a passenger Arlyn Miller, 49, Arlington, were transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.
The K.H.P. reported Arlyn was not wearing a seat belt.
