BUHLER, Kan. — Two teenagers were taken to the hospital after a rollover accident in the county Tuesday afternoon.

14-year-old Jenus Leonia Linder-Taylor of Hutchinson told Reno County Sheriff deputies that she was traveling north in the 9100 block of Victory Road when she swerved to miss an unknown animal. She then lost control of the vehicle and slid into the ditch, striking a round bale. The vehicle then overturned.

Both her and her passenger, 14-year-old Cameron Owens of Hutchinson, were transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The accident occurred around 4:30 p.m.
