It’s one of the more rewarding days for the teens participating in this years Ulster Project.

The teens from Reno County and Northern Ireland spent the day with the clients from TECH learning about the services provided to people with disabilities, and holding a fun day that included food and games.

Thursday evening, they’ll host the annual TECH dance at the Anchor Inn.

This Saturday will be one of the main fund raisers for the Ulster Project with the annual garage sale and car wash to be held at Trinity Catholic High School at 17th and Lorraine. The garage sale runs from 7am until 1pm with the car wash starting at 9 a-m, and running until 1 p-m.

All proceeds go to the Hutchinson Ulster Project which is now in its 13th year.

The Ulster Project was started in Northern Ireland in 1975 as a way to bring catholic and protestant teens together to spend a month with teens in the US in order to learn how to discuss their differences in a peaceful setting.
