The Reno County United Way campaign continues to make progress towards this years goal.
According to United Way’s Tona Turner, the total as of November 1st stands at 654-thousand 533-dollars or 48% of it’s goal. That’s with 52% of the total packets returned, which is a little high for the total according to Turner.
The campaign is still well ahead of the 2010 pace when the total was just 37% towards their goal. The total is also 135-thousand dollars higher than November 1st of 2010.
Turner says of the packets that have been returned show an increase in donations rather than a decrease.
The United Ways soft ending is November 11th but the donations and packet returns usually last well into the next month.
