United Way Hires New Director of Community Impact and Engagement

United Way of Reno County is pleased to announce the hiring of Lisa Gleason as Director of Community Impact and Engagement.

Gleason has grown up in Hutchinson and has a passion for helping develop our community into the best place to live and work.

She worked for Dillard’s for 23-years with the last 12 in the role of store manager. She transitioned from retail to health care four years ago and created the Guest Relations Department at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.

Gleason’s community involvement includes serving on the boards for Reno County Chamber of Commerce, Hospice and Homecare of Reno County, Rotary and Leadership Reno County.

She has also worked over the years as a volunteer for United Way. Her volunteer roles include board chair for two years, board member for seven years, 2005-2006 Campaign Chair. Gleason has chaired the Agency Relations and New Admissions committees and she served on the Allocations team for six years. Lisa demonstrates a love for United Way and the collective work accomplished by the network of agencies.

She will work with United Way agency partners including agency outcomes trainings, will lead the Allocations teams/process, and will work to bring more focus and synergy to resolving community-level issues respecting education, financial stability and health.
