HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Stating that 44 percent of staff would not get a pay increase due to pay scale limitations, Hutchinson USD 308 Superintendent Dr. Shelly Kiblinger asked that she not receive a pay increase.

The request came following an executive session by the USD 308 School Board during Monday night’s meeting. The board did not lower Kiblingers salary either, instead voting to leave it at last year’s level.

That means Kiblinger will receive  $145,747 for the year. Because of the current wage scale and the limitations in pay increases it caused for the year, Kiblinger said she should not get a pay raise either.
