HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson school board will pay a visit to Morgan Elementary School during Monday’s agenda session.
Morgan will present the board with its continuous improvement report. Each school presents such a report during the year. This year, the board decided that the agenda session would be held on the reporting school’s campus. The board will tour the school before the meeting.
A request from HMS-8 to apply for a grant from Cargill is also on the agenda. The grant for up to $15,000 would be used to purchase new calculators for the math class and 10 new robotics kits.
Also Monday, the board will hear a report regarding student four- and five-year graduation rates. The board will get a report detailing the college readiness of HHS students.
Monday’s USD 308 board meeting begins at 6 p.m. at Morgan Elementary School at 100 W. 27th.
