WICHITA – A 44-year-old Wichita man has been sentenced to 17.5 years in federal prison for selling methamphetamine
James Hald, was sentenced to 210 months in federal prison. Hald pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
In his plea, he admitted that from Feb. 3, 2011, to May 19, 2011, he distributed meth as part of a conspiracy in Wichita. He obtained the drug for distribution and he used other individuals at his direction to keep track of sales, amounts sold and monies owed.
Hald has served time in state prison for two counts of criminal threat and domestic battery cases from Harvey County going back to 2009.
